Newcastle United are not interested in signing former Liverpool and Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge.
Rumours in the English press had suggested Sturridge was being offered to the Magpies, who recently lost Callum Wilson to injury.
According to Football Insider, Steve Bruce's team have turned down Sturridge.
The 31-year-old is without a club, and Newcastle may not feel he is fit enough to make any contribution this season.
Sturridge has made no secret of his desire to find a club as soon as possible.
