Rape: Foreigner held in Tawau

TAWAU: A 49-year-old foreigner has been detained for allegedly raping and impregnating a 15-year-old, who is now eight months pregnant, at Kg Pasir Putih, Jalan Sin San. 

Tawau Police Chief ACP Peter Umbuas said police apprehended the man at the roadside of a factory at Jalan Tanjung Batu about 1.20pm on Wednesday following a police report lodged by the girl’s mother.
