Former Chelsea defender Mario Melchiot believes Ben Chilwell will struggle for a game under Thomas Tuchel.
Melchiot feels Marcos Alonso is the better option for the system Tuchel wishes to employ.
"Chilwell can find it tough now. Under (Frank) Lampard, Chelsea played 4-3-3 but now the formation has changed and they now play with wing-backs and it suits Marcos Alonso better," Melchiot told Goal.
"It does not mean that Chilwell is a bad player, I like him as a player.
"But Alonso knows how to play in this role and he has really taken the chance."
