Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo is delighted to have reached the Coppa Italia final.
Last night's 0-0 draw saw Juve defeat Inter Milan 2-1 on aggregate in their semifinal.
Pirlo admitted he was hoping to reach the milestone in his first season at the helm.
“I hoped so, as a debutant it was my plan to win a Supercoppa, to reach the Final of the Coppa Italia and the last 16 of the Champions League," he told Rai 1 after the match.
“As a player it was easier, it ended after the game. As a coach, you have to think about the next game immediately, you have to think for 30 different heads.
“But we haven't achieved anything yet, now we'll rest and prepare for Saturday's match."
The defence did a great job to keep out Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.
“I have always said that I'm lucky to have four very good centre-backs," Pirlo continued. “They are adapting to our way of defending and are improving.
“Not only Giorgio's [Chiellini] return, the others are doing very well and I'm happy about this."
