SANDAKAN: Proliyic Yield Sdn Bhd which operates in Segaliud/Lokan, was fined a total of RM50,000 for breaching two terms in its licence under the Environmental Quality Act 1974, here, Monday, before Sandakan High Court Judge, Celestina Stuel Galid. The respondent was charged with two offences of contravening the terms and conditions of its licence which is an offence under Section 16(1) of the Environmental Quality Act 1974.
