Kota Kinabalu: Over 200 lion teams in Sabah are estimated to receive new lion heads and whole set of uniforms from the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS)-led State government before the coming Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration. Federation of Chinese Associations Sabah (FCAS) President Tan Sri T.C. Goh said FCAS is grateful and appreciates the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor for the annual contribution although there is no lion dance this year.
