KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 6 — Pahang police chief Datuk Seri Abdul Jalil Hassan has been appointed as the new Selangor police chief, effective March 1.

The matter was informed by Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Corporate Communications head Superintendent A Skandaguru in a statement issued today.

The Selangor Police Chief post is currently held by State deputy police chief Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed.
