Cagliari have taken Juventus defender Daniele Rugani on-loan to the end of the season.
The 26-year-old returns to Serie A after a six-month loan with Rennes.
The former Empoli defender only play one gamed in France.
Cagliari, however, managed to wrap up the deal and secure his services on loan until the end of the season.
Sportitalia says Cagliari will pay €1.2m to Juventus for Rugani's temporary move to the Sardegna Arena, while Rennes will receive €500,000 if Cagliari gain Serie A survival this season.
