Arsenal hero Jens Lehmann has claimed the club has gone backwards since Arsene Wenger's last year in charge.
Lehmann is used to enjoying success at Arsenal. He won the Premier League title and an FA Cup during his five years at the club, before returning as an assistant coach under former boss Wenger.
That was Wenger's last year at the club following a trophy-laden 22 years at the helm, but Lehmann thinks the club have taken a step backwards since the Frenchman departed.
"I was there as a coach in Arsene's final year and he was criticised and told it was time to leave.
"Things were much better in that final year than they are now.
"As a former player, I want the club to do well so it is hard to see them struggling as they are doing."
