Chelsea senior players expect Lewis Bate to be the next youngster to make a first team breakthrough.
Bate joined Chelsea at the age of eight and was captain of the U15 side that won the Floodlight Cup.
He has impressed in the U23s side side this campaign with Chelsea riding high in Premier League 2.
Bate, 18, was named PL2 Player of the Month for December having been a standout in the 6-1 demolition of Manchester United.
His rise through the ranks means he could go on to feature for Chelsea for many years with The Athletic reporting that Bate has wowed Cesar Azpilicueta and Olivier Giroud in first-team training.
