KUNAK: A social media posting of what is supposedly a “Pontianak” (female vampire in Malay folklore) near the roadblock at KM16 Jalan Kunak-Tawau near Ladang Giram here on Thursday night has caused quite a stir among nearby residents (pic). The picture showed a team of security personnel consisting of Rela members chancing upon the vampire image in the oil palm plantation on the side of the road at night while carrying out duties at the roadblock.
