Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has admitted frustration over the lack of transfer spending in January.
Wilder says he wanted to add to his squad amid owner Prince Abdullah's explanation as to why they didn't make any signings last month.
The manager said, "I get on with my job. I am a big boy and things don't go your way all the time.
"I have made my recommendations to the board for the best of the football club, which I always have done. Why would I not? I don't do anything personal, I do it to help the football club, to help the group in every decision I make.
"I am not a yes man, I respect decisions made but I don't have to always agree with them. I don't agree with this one, but there it is. I get on with it and move on.
"I have a group of players fully committed.
"If I look back at the amount of kick in the balls these boys have had all season, some self inflicted and some not, for what they are producing now to keep going the way they do is quite frankly a bit mad and a bit unreal and genuinely believing on Sunday they can pick up a result.
"Their confidence, their belief, their fight is mirrored by mine. I have always said I walked in the front door and will walk out the front door and say it how it is. I will get on with it if it doesn't go the way I want and accept it."
