Chelsea fullback Marcos Alonso has let it be known to Spanish intermediaries he plans to stay in London.
Before the change of manager from Frank Lampard to Thomas Tuchel, Alonso was preparing to return to Spain.
A move to Barcelona had been mooted, along with the club of his father, Atletico Madrid.
However, Mundo Deportivo says Alonso's representatives have now let it be known to LaLiga intermediaries that he plans to stay with Chelsea.
Alonso feels he has the full confidence of Tuchel and is even ready to discuss new terms with management.
