Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits Ben Davies missed today's clash with Leicester City due to injury.

Davies joined the Reds at the end of the January transfer window in a cut-price deal from Preston North End but is yet to make his debut for the club.

Manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed Fabinho would miss the Leicester game through injury leading to suggestions that Davies could feature at centre-back along fellow January signing Ozan Kabak.

"It was a good training week, unfortunately Ben Davies picked up a little knock as well," he told BT Sport.

"It's unbelievable. But Ozan looked good in training and the boys got used to each other. Today is a proper test against Leicester, against Vardy, Barnes and Maddison. It'll be tricky."
