Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar says they were worthy winners against Lazio.
The 3-1 victory takes Inter back to the top of the table.
“Lazio are a very good team with strong results recently, so we knew the kind of match that awaited us," Skriniar told Sky Sport Italia.
“We are glad to have won, we could've scored more and it's a pity we conceded that goal, but the points are what matter."
It's the first time Inter have been top in the second half of the Serie A season since their Treble campaign in 2009-10.
“We always work for this, to be higher and stronger. So we'll enjoy this victory this evening and from tomorrow start preparing for the Derby against Milan."
