Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants to sign a centre-forward in the summer.
The Reds are in need of a mini squad rejig, as they attempt to freshen up the team and go again to win the Premier League next season.
And according to the Liverpool Echo, Klopp wants a striker who can score goals at a regular rate and play in all competitions.
The issue is the finances that will be available to Klopp, as the club may not sanction a big money deal.
The Reds hierarchy will have a shortlist of players that Klopp approves of securing.
