Former AS Monaco coach Robert Moreno is being linked with Getafe.
Getafe coach Jose Bordalas is under pressure after a difficult season and having lashed out at the board and president Angel Torres this week.
Several directors have already urged Torres to sack Bordalas, reports AS, though the president is reluctant to act before the end of the season.
However, should Torres choose to axe Bordalas then Moreno is regarded as favourite for the job.
Moreno is also a former Barcelona assistant coach and took charge of Spain in the absence of Luis Enrique and guided them to Euros qualification.
