Santos dropped further in the Brasileiro standings after a disappointing 1-1 draw at Atletico Goianiense.
Atletico-GO took the lead via the spot and looked like taking all three points before teenager Marcos Leonardo kept his nerve to convert a Santos penalty 11 minutes from time.
The result leaves Santos in tenth place and at risk of missing out on the Copa Libertadores qualifying positions. Pele's formative club is yet to win in six games.
