Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella is delighted with praise from Claudio Marchisio.
Barella struck in victory over Fiorentina last night.
“As an ex-midfielder, I cannot help but admire the constant growth and talent of Nicolò Barella," wrote Juventus hero Marchisio on social media.
“Such a young player, already mature and complete. Inter fans are fortunate, but even more fortunate is our Italy squad."
Barella was shown the post and replied: “I thank him, Marchisio was such a great player. I do see myself in him a little bit, even though he scored more goals than I do. I realise that I ought to score more and I can do better. I thank the team because they put me in the position to do everything that I need to."
