SINGAPORE, Feb 5 — A 43-year-old Malaysian man was among the 22 new Covid-19 imported cases reported in Singapore on Thursday, according to the republic’s Health Ministry.
The ministry in its full data released here late last night, said the work permit holder arrived from Malaysia and was symptomatic.
As at noon Thursday, there were no new cases of locally transmitted cases reported in Singapore, all imported thus bringing the total number of infections here to 59,624.
Of the 22 new imported cases, 19 were asymptomatic and three were symptomatic.
The other imported cases were from India, Indonesia, Germany, Japan, Nigeria, the Philippines, and the United Arab Emirates.
A 56-year-old Singaporean man who returned from Malaysia is also among the symptomatic imported cases here. Singapore has three clusters remaining at the moment.
