Obstructing officers on duty: Remand of man, 37, is extended

TAWAU: The remand order for the 37-year-old, who was detained after he allegedly provoked and obstructed an enforcement team from discharging their duties during a Covid-19 operation in Taman Semarak, has been extended another three days starting Tuesday. 

The remand order on the unemployed was issued by the Tawau High Court Deputy Registrar, Amir Shah Amir Hassan, after the application for an extension of the remand order was made by ASP Dayang Nur Azarinawati Ag Kachee.
