FC Midtjylland signing Jonas Lossl has explained leaving Everton.
The Denmark international returned home on Monday to rejoin Midtjylland, the club for whom he made 137 appearances at the start of his career before going to French side Guingamp in 2014.
Lossl told TV2: “I know I have to go after playing time. It is necessary to get to the European Championships, which means an insane amount to me.
“I was in a situation at Everton that was untenable. That was not what I wanted.
“I should have some playing time. Midtjylland wanting me was just fantastic."
