Off contract in June, the veteran City striker isn't short of pre-contract interest, where Inter Milan, Barcelona and PSG are among clubs keen.
However, ESPN says his preference would be to stay in Manchester and extend his contract.
City manager Pep Guardiola has stated he expects an answer from Aguero mid-March about their new contract offer.
Aguero will reach 10 years as a City player at the end of this season.
