Former Tottenham midfielder Gedson Fernandes is set for a longer stay with Galatasaray.
The Portuguese youngster had joined Spurs on-loan in January 2020, but was released so he could sign for Gala in a similar arrangement.
Gedson has already impressed Gala chiefs enough to seek to extend his stay.
For the moment, the midfielder's deal runs to June, but Gala want to extend that to the end of next season.
Sabah says Gala are offering Benfica a fee of €3m to hold onto Gedson.
