Double efforts to upgrade LD Council: Isnin

LAHAD DATU: The Lahad Datu District Council (MDLD) is urged to double its efforts in achieving the necessary requirements for it to be upgraded to a municipal council.

State Local Government and Housing Assistant Minister Datuk Isnin Aliasnih said it is among the Ministry’s aspirations for the district to be upgraded to a municipality so that more development can be brought to the area.
