Former Barcelona fullback Daniel Alves has taken fresh aim at former president Joan Laporta.

The Brazilian was one of the most important pieces of the puzzle at the Camp Nou before his departure in 2016, but he has no regrets about his exit and has said that he doesn't miss the club.

"I didn't believe in the people in charge of the club at that time," he said on Instagram when asked about his move away from the club.

"It was later proven that I was right.

"Because I was the first person to say anything, I was called crazy. But, as always, I'm a good crazy."

Naturally, the right-back was asked who he preferred between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

"Despite the greatness of both, a picture is worth a thousand words," he wrote, while sharing a photo of himself and Messi celebrating a goal together.
