AIM won’t go private, says Lajim

Kota Kinabalu: Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM), which is an independent body established in 1987, will not be privatised, said its Executive Chairman Datuk Seri Lajim Ukin (pic).

He said AIM will remain as a private trust body with its existing roles and functions to serve and help poor and low-income entrepreneurs as enshrined under the Trustees Act 1952.
