‘Allow community service for those unable to pay RM1,000’

LABUAN: Those who are unable to pay the RM1,000 fine for violating the standard operating procedures (SOPs) should be given the option of performing community service, says the Labuan Women’s Association.

Its Chief Fauziah Datuk Din (pic) said RM1,000 can be pocket money for some but for many who have lost their jobs, it is a big sum and akin to rubbing salt into their injury.
