Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero believes his relationship with manager Pep Guardiola is fracturing.
The Argentine ace, who is City's all-time record scorer with 257 goals to his name, is set to depart the Etihad having failed to agree a new contract.
And it's not just his injury problems which mean the writing is on the wall for Aguero, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting the forward's relationship with Guardiola is strained.
Aguero's 'feeling with Pep Guardiola has waned' and the striker 'could follow in the footsteps of Carlos Tevez, who also landed from the Premier League at a mature age'.
Tevez spent four seasons at City before departing for Juventus in 2013.
The Old Lady are in the market for a new striker and Aguero would settle straight away thanks to the presence of Argentina team-mate Paulo Dybala.
