Disabled senior citizen who lived alone dies in Tuaran home fire

Tuaran: A disabled senior citizen who lived alone died in a fire that consumed his home at Kg Tombongon, Kiulu, here, Saturday night.

Ah Chong, in his 60s, is understood to have lived near a church but far away from other residents.

Head of the Tuaran Fire and Rescue Department Abdul Qawie Abdul Gapar said the station dispatched 10 firemen to the scene after receiving an alert at 11.29pm.
