GRS urged to step up efforts on affordable housing

Kota Kinabalu: Kapayan Assemblywoman Jannie Lasimbang (pic) on Monday called on Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) to step up efforts in building affordable housing in Sabah. 

She said the year 2020 has been a unique and challenging year for everyone across the globe, adding that the Covid-19 pandemic has caused significant economic damage and that it has negatively affected the livelihoods of ordinary citizens. 

Most young couples wanting to start a family are unable to afford a new house due the high price of houses in Sabah.
