Real Madrid are considering re-signing Levante wing-back Jorge de Frutos this summer.
With Lucas Vazquez resisting new contract talks and preparing to leave in a Bosman transfer at season's end, Real see De Frutos as a readymade replacement.
De Frutos went through the Real Madrid youth system before departing. After struggling at Rayo Vallecano and Real Valladolid, he has found his feet at Levante. The original deal with Levante includes a 50 per cent sell-on clause for Real Madrid.
Now Real are weighing up bringing De Frutos back to the club as they prepare for Vazquez to depart.
