KENINGAU: A Journalism Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Keningau Journalists Association of Sabah (KJA) welcomes the proposal to set up the Journalists and Media Practitioners Welfare Foundation by the Federal government and hopes that it will become a reality in the near future. KJA patron, Datuk Jake Jikulin Nointin said, this is an appreciation for the media’s contribution which helps a lot in disseminating and delivering information accurately and quickly, especially on government programmes and plans that are so important to the people.
