Covid blessing in disguise for Labuan singer-songwriter

LABUAN: Local singer and songwriter Genie Wong (Geneieve Wong Yen Fui) (pic) owe it to the ongoing Covid-19 concerns to finally leap into a larger platform after remaining in the shadow of the local music industry.

Genie said musicians all over had been hard hit since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the movement restriction deprived us of the opportunity to hold functions or participate in events, the doors were closed and talents laid idle.
