PSV Eindhoven winger Noni Madueke has opened the door to playing for Holland.
The former Tottenham trainee, who turned down Manchester United to join PSV's academy, is a regular England youth international.
When it was put to him by PSV Supporter that he could soon declare for the Oranje, Madueke declared: "Really?! Is that possible?! Wow, I really did not know that at all.
"That would also be a very nice option. I really have a lot of admiration for Dutch football, which of course has come a long way in many major tournaments. With a very talented crop coming up.
"But, if I therefore stay at least two and a half years with PSV or in the Netherlands, could I theoretically also represent the Netherlands?
"I really feel completely at home here, so who knows how things will turn out in the future. If it is an option, I will certainly not rule it out."
Madueke's comments come just a week after Bayern Munich's former Chelsea youth teamer Jamal Musiala turned his back on England for Germany.
