MDNS backs stiffer penalties

Kota Kinabalu: Majlis Datuk-Datuk Negeri Sabah (MDNS) fully supports the call by Majlis Datuk-Datuk Persekutuan Malaysia (MDPM) for the authorities to use stiffer laws passed recently to punish individuals using unaccredited or fake titles.

MDNS President Datuk Claudius Roman (pic) said using fake titles not only belittles and tarnishes the image of honourable genuine recipients of the title but also the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultans, Heads of States and the bestowing states.
