AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli launched a furious broadside at Manchester United assistant coach Kieran McKenna after their Europa League defeat last night.
Tempers threatened to boil over after the final whistle when a frustrated Pioli shouted expletives as he headed down the tunnel after United coach McKenna had said "good team" and nudged him as he walked past.
The Milan boss, clearly incensed that McKenna had meant offence, turned around and said in his direction: "Good team s***, a***hole you are nothing else, a***! your sister good team, your sister."
Milan had been in the ascendancy after drawing the first leg at Old Trafford thanks to a last-gasp equaliser, but were edged out by United on their own patch on Thursday night.
Wow.
Ending of Milan-Manchester United:
Solskjaer told to Pioli “good team".
Possibly as sportsmanship.
But possibly Pioli took it as patronising, and replied in Italian:
“Good team this f**k, you as****e, donkey! your sister good team, your sister"
