Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte is keen on a move for Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum.
Off contract in June, there's a resignation inside Liverpool that Wijnaldum will leave at the end of this season.
Barcelona, where his former Holland coach Ronald Koeman is in charge, have been regarded as the most likely destination for the midfielder.
However, Conte's interest has the backing of Inter's directors, which have established contact with Wijnaldum's minders.
The Dutchman's current demands are for a four-year contract at €10m-a-season - plus a hefty signing on bonus.
