Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo received the Golden Tapir in good spirits after defeat to Porto.
Juve are out of the Champions League and Pirlo was presented with the award on Wednesday night.
"Hopefully we'll make up for it next year," said Pirlo.
There was a great deal of criticism aimed at Cristiano Ronaldo for his performance, including his odd reaction in the wall during the decisive free kick.
“It's not just that. We made other mistakes that cost us qualification. I let the journalists give their verdict on Ronaldo, for me he is always 7, the number on his shirt," added Pirlo.
