Be honest, grassroots leaders told

Kota Kinabalu: State Science, Technology and Innovation Minister, Datuk Yakub Khan, said community leaders at the grassroots level need to be honest as well as firm in carrying out their responsibilities to the community they represent.

He said this is because the responsibility they bear is very heavy if there is no honesty and sincerity in their duties, adding that the goal to empower the community they represent will not be achieved.
