Upko VP defects to Star

KENINGAU: Parti Upko led by Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau received another blow when his Vice President Datuk Dr. Lucas Umbul left to join Sabah Star headed by Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey G. Kitingan on Sunday.

The former Senator and about 2,000 supporters, handed over the Star Sabah party membership forms to Jeffrey, who is also the Deputy Chief Minister, in a ceremony at Jeffrey’s residence.
