Plantation worker held for alleged murder of co-worker

KINABATANGAN: A plantation worker who slashed his co-worker to death over water usage at a shared quarters in Ladang Melangking Peringkat 4 Sukau five days ago was arrested on Tuesday.

Kinabatangan Police Chief Supt Dzulbaharin Ismail said the Indonesian suspect, Tata Dehasus, was arrested at 4pm by the Kinabatangan police’s Criminal Investigation Department, with assistance from the Lahad Datu police’s K9 Unit and staff of the plantation.
