Sheffield Wednesday have taken Danny Simpson for trials.
The Leicester Mercury says free agent Simpson is on trial at Sheffield Wednesday.
The 34-year-old left Huddersfield last summer, four years after winning the Premier League with the Foxes in 2016.
He has been training with Leicester and turning out for the U23s to get himself match fit.
Simpson has also spent time with Sunderland and Manchester United.
