Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is happy to go with coach Zinedine Zidane next season.
That's according to local journalist Javi Herráez, who says Zidane's job is safe unless something dramatic happens to his team between now and the end of the season.
He said on Cadena SER: "From today, Zinedine Zidane will be the coach of Real Madrid next season if nothing new happens. A lot is going on in football, but if Real Madrid finish decently, the Frenchman will continue."
Fellow reporter Mario Torrejón also said: "For Florentino, Zidane is a legend and treats him as such, it is not bad news that he continues."
And Jesús Gallego added: "There is no other coach in the showcase that is convincing."
