Liverpool are maintaining interest in Schalke youngster Matthew Hoppe.
Trasnfermarkt reports Hoppe is drawing attention from Liverpool ahead of the summer transfer window.
The German side are having a season to forget as they sit at the bottom of the table after managing only one win in 25 matches.
But the 20-year-old is in the sights of a few clubs, including the Reds and Ajax.
The report says that the Amsterdam side haven't tabled an offer for the forward, but Liverpool have 'signalled their fundamental interest' in the player.
