Brighton winger Peter Gwargis is being lined up for a return to Sweden.
Having joined the Seagulls in 2018 from Jönköpings Södra, the 20 year-old comes off contract at the end of the season.
SportExpressen says Malmo FF are ahead of IF Elfsborg in the battle for Gwargis' signature.
Malmö FF and Gwargis have verbally agreed on a contract. At the same time, the Swedish champions are negotiating with Brighton to get the player out of his contract early.
All indications are that MFF will secure Gwargis in the next few weeks.
