165 Palau rounded up for deportation

Kota Kinabalu: Some 165 homeless ethnic Pala’u people who were found roaming in the city were picked up under ‘Ops Bangau’ in Sembulan and Inanam.

Mayor Noorliza Awang Alip said the operation was carried out based on humanitarian grounds following reports and social media posting that went viral of the growing numbers of pelauh folks in the city.
