Liverpool great John Aldridge believes they need to buy two defenders this summer.
Aldridge believes Liverpool need to sign two defenders this summer, to plug gaps that have been cruelly exposed this season.
"I like Joe Gomez and Joel Matip, but they are both injury prone and Liverpool need to make sure what has happened this season doesn't happen again," he told the Sunday World.
"That means bringing in two defenders this summer, with Kabak a contender for one of those roles. Nat Phillips could also be part of the first team plans next season, but Klopp will know he needs to sign at least two centre-backs.
