Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was on the bench for the North London derby at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The Gabon international had turned up late to a pre-match meeting, and it was not the first time he had done so.
But The Sunsays Arteta does not plan to further punish Aubameyang, and hopes the matter is now closed.
The Gunners won without Aubameyang, claiming a 2-1 win over Spurs at the Emirates.
