Real Madrid are eyeing Manchester City striker Liam Delap.

The Daily Star says City are braced for an attempt by Real Madrid to sign rising star Delap.

Spanish giants Real are weighing up a move for the 18-year-old, who has been compared to a young Erling Haaland.

Delap, the son of former Stoke City star Rory, has scored 20 goals in 15 games in Premier League 2 for City this season.

He has also made three appearances in the first team, scoring on his senior debut against Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup last September.

But his form has not gone unnoticed in Madrid, where scouts are raving about the talented teenage striker.

Delap is under contract until 2023 and City see him as one of their brightest prospects.
